The next Midlands User Group (MUG) meeting will take place online, using the Zoom video conferencing system, from 2:00pm on Saturday, 2nd October, with a discussion topic inspired by the cancellation of this year’s London Show and the scarcity of active user groups.

The meeting is cancelled. Long last the meeting. The RISC OS User Group of London (ROUGOL) normally hold their meetings on the third Monday of each month, meaning that the next meeting was scheduled to take place tomorrow evening – Monday, 19th September. However, with the funeral of Queen Elizabeth II taking place earlier in the same day, the decision has been taken to not hold a normal meeting.

A new version of PhotoDesk, released by its new owners XAT with a little help from R-Comp, is now available to purchase from !Store. The software has a long history, dating back to the 1990s when it was sold by Spacetech. There were a number of versions available from the company, with the top-end version costing around £300, and there were even separate ‘plug-ins’ available.
