To be and not to be – RISC OS Developments at ROUGOL

Whether ’tis nobler in the pub to imbibe. Or something. The next RISC OS User Group of London (ROUGOL) meeting will be another hybrid meeting, with both a physical presence at the group’s regular venue, and an online one – but with an added twist: There will be two guest speakers for the evening, and one will be appearing in person, while the other will be at the other end of an internet connection.

Iris web browser available to OBrowser supporters

Without going into a fully detailed history,RISC OS Developments Ltd was formed only a few short years ago with the original (and initially hush-hush) aim of funding the development of a web browser. The company has achieved a number of other things since, the most notable of which is probably taking over ownership of RISC OS itself and making it fully open source – but all the same, that original purpose was the web browser.

Both R-Comp and RISC OS Developments to give talks to ROUGOL on 14th December
