Updated Impression manual now available to order

And bag a free copy of Impression Publisher if you get in early!

The user manual for the Impression desktop publishing software has been receiving a lick of paint lately, and you may have seen drafts on Chris Hall’s stand at the recent London Show, and before that at the 2020 Southwest Show.

Chris has now reached the point where his work updating the manual can become something tangible for other Impression users, with the book now available to purchase.

The new edition covers all three versions of the software – Impression Style, Impression Publisher, and Impression-X (the in-progress 32-bit update), and comes as an A5 perfect-bound paperback, with over 350 pages and coloured illustrations. It is priced at £29 including postage and packaging, or just £15 if you’ve already paid a £10 deposit to Chris.

Anyone who buys from the first print-run of the new manual will also receive an exclusive download link for version 5.13 of Impression Publisher, which can be run on 32-bit RISC OS systems under Aemulor – a powerful, very capable piece of software which itself used to be sold by its original developers, Computer Concepts, for considerably more.

To order a copy, just send a cheque, payable to Chris Hall, to:

C. K. Hall,
3, Rockleaze Court,
Sneyd Park,
Bristol,
BS9 1NN.

Copies of the manual are expected to be available for despatch around mid-December, which should be just in time for delivery by Christmas.
