DeskWatcher version 0.9 released
DeskWatcher is a commercial application released by Thomas Milius towards the end of 2020 that provides RISC OS with its very own system for sharing screens between multiple machines over a network, and an updated version is now available.

Thomas Milius has been combating bugs in his software, and as a result there is a new version available of the FileAccess module, a fairly old piece of software that he rediscovered during 2021, and gave a polished up for release.

A new application that may be of use to developers when creating ‘how-to’ videos has been released by Thomas Milius. Called MakeMJPEG, the program can be used to create MJPEG movies – a video format that simply consists of a stream of JPEG images that are displayed one after the other. The format isn’t as versatile as other video file types and containers, but it could form part of a handy screen recording process – and the files can be converted to other formats using other tools, such as FFMPEG.

At the point it was noticed here in the Bunker and reported on this site it had reached version 0.15 – and after the most recent update it now stands at version 0.18.
