The RISC OS Awards poll for 2017 has been open now for about a week and a half, and there have been 60 votes cast – so now is probably a good time as any to take a look at some of the alternative nominations people have made if they felt something other than the options on offer deserve to win in any given category.
Time to discuss and make travel arrangements for the Southwest Show
And, oh yeah… I should probably say something about the show as well, shouldn’t I? It is now just two and a half weeks until this year’s Southwest Show, which will be taking place at the Webbington Hotel, its home since the first one took place all the way back in 1998. With there having been no show one year – I believe in 2000 – that makes this the twentieth Southwest Show.

The Count from Sesame Street would absolutely love this! Following on from parts one and two, and subsequently parts three and four, it was a fairly logical conclusion that if and when Richard Ashbery uploaded any more videos of Jan Vibe’s graphics programs, the next would be part five, and the next again part six. And that is exactly what he’s done.
