The next meeting of the Wakefield RISC OS Computer Club will take place on Wednesday, 6th September, with Dr Nat Queen of Birmingham University as the guest speaker. A medley of matters at Wakefield meeting – 5th July

The Wakefield RISC OS Computer Club will next be meeting on Wednesday 5th July, and has a mixture of topics planned. Starting off the mix will be Derek Barron, who will be demonstrating his 3D Molecule program, amongst other things. Peter Richmond will then take a look at StudioSound – an audio sequencing package originally released by Oregan Developments, and since updated by Henrik Pedersen. Peter will be using various sound samples to show off the features of the package.

Elesar’s Rob Sprowson at WROCC meeting – 3rd May

Taking place on Wednesday, 3rd May, the next meeting of the Wakefield RISC OS Computer Club will see Rob Sprowson as the guest speaker. The man behind Elesar Ltd and the Titanium motherboard, Rob will be demonstrating a Titanium-based computer and talking about its development. Elesar also has a growing range of software titles, both home-grown such as CloudFS, and taken over and updated from a previous owner, such as Font Directory Pro (originally from LOOKsystems).

Announcement from the Wakefield RISC OS Computer Club Wakefield RISC OS Computer Club would like to remind everyone in the RISC OS and 8-bit communities that the Wakefield Acorn & RISC OS Computer Show will be taking place this weekend, on Saturday 22nd April. The event is open from 10.30am until 4.30pm, with admission £5 on the door. The platform’s premier event in the North is in its regular venue at the Cedar Court Hotel near Wakefield, and there are over twenty exhibitors confirmed as attending.
