News nybble: Quiz time at WROCC – 7th March

The next meeting of the Wakefield RISC OS Computer Club will take place at 7:45pm on Wednesday, 7th March, when attendees can enjoy an entertaining and educational computer-related quiz, devised by Peter Richmond. The remainder of the evening will then be given over to an informal discussion about the Club itself. It’s AGM time at WROCC on 4th January

The Wakefield RISC OS Computer Club is to hold its annual general meeting on Wednesday, 4th January, 2017, at 7:45pm. This would be the group’s scheduled January meeting, but it is customarily reserved for their AGM, at which their committee for the coming year will be elected, and attending members will be able to have their say on the Club’s future and how it is run. WROCC meeting tomorrow: The Interweb and its latest RISC OS goodies

Finding its way to the RISCOSitory bunker at all but the last minute1, the Wakefield RISC OS Computer Club have announced the topic for their next meeting, which takes place on 1st June – tomorrow (Wednesday) evening. The speaker for the meeting will be Malcolm Hussain-Gambles, developer of software such as NewsUK and WeatherUK, and he will be talking about ‘The Interweb’ and some of the latest goodies for RISC OS that can be found online.
