Steve Fryatt talks lesser known software in Wakefield on 1st May

Even though the show they organise took place only yesterday, the Wakefield RISC OS Computer Club (WROCC) will be holding their next meeting this week, on Wednesday 1st May. The guest speaker will be the group’s own Steve Fryatt.

Steve will be looking at some of his less well known software, and you can’t get more… er, less well known than something that’s been running on his own computers for many years, but which he has only just released to the public: The new old application launcher, released in time for the show.

Starting at 7:45pm, the meeting will take place at:

West Yorkshire Sports & Social Club,
Sandal Hall Close (Off Walton Lane),
Wakefield,
WF2 6ER.

Members of the club can get in for free, but should any non-members in the area wish to attend there is a £3.00 entry fee. Membership costs just £15.00, which is discounted to a mere £7.50 in the first year – which makes it a real bargain if you are able to make it to meetings. Other benefits of membership include delivery of The WROCC, the group’s newsletter, as a PDF by email, and access to a private chat list.
