For the last few months, Steve Potts has been announcing the RISC OS North West User Group’s meetings with a warning that, due to ongoing building refurbishment work, it’s possible that the group might not be able to meet in the usual place. To that end, he has provided a ‘Plan B’ that would see the group relocate to an alternative venue if necessary.

Meetings this week in Southampton and Bristol

Southampton tomorrow, Bristol the next day… then, the WORLD! BWAHAHA! Or something. Tuesday, 10th November sees the Southampton RISC OS User Group meet up, from 19:00 until 21:00 at its usual venue, the Sports Centre of Itchen College, Deacon Road, Southampton. The meeting takes place in the College Centre, which is an open area with tables and chairs, adjacent to the Sports Centre Reception desk.

For a few month’s now, each announcement of a RISC OS North West User Group’s meeting has included a warning that the group may have to meet in an alternative location – and this month is no different. The meeting takes place tomorrow evening, 21st October, and once again there is a possibility that ongoing refurbishment work may prevent access to the usual room.

ROUGOL meeting Monday; London Show five days later!

The topic for the meeting? The London Show – and how to squeeze everyone in! The RISC OS User Group of London – ROUGOL – have their next scheduled meeting on Monday, 19th October – tomorrow evening. The group usually has a guest speaker, but for this meeting there isn’t to be one. Instead, they will be discussing the London Show, which takes place five days later; see below for a little more news on that.
