WROCC December meeting cancelled

It’s okay, I was washing my hair anyway that night.

The Wakefield RISC OS Computer Club have regrettably announced that their December meeting – which would otherwise have taken place on Wednesday 2nd December – has had to be cancelled. This, apparently, is a result of a double-booking by the venue.

The next meeting is the 6th January, 2016, but that’s the group’s AGM and is therefore restricted to members only, which means the next more general meeting should be 3rd February. The group hopes that the events they had originally planned for the December meeting can take place at that one instead – so watch out for more details as February approaches.

The group normally meets on the first Wednesday of the month from around 7:45pm (with the doors usually opening at around 7:15pm), at:

West Yorkshire Sports and Social Club,
Sandal Hall Close, off Walton Lane,
(A61) Barnsley Road,
Sandal,
WAKEFIELD,
WF2 6ER.

There is an entrance fee of £3.00 for visitors, which includes a printed copy of the Club newsletter. Annual membership does away with the entry fee and costs just £15.00 – reduced to £7.50 in the first year – and brings with it each issue of the newsletter delivered as a PDF, for sale/wanted adverts on the club website and in the newsletter, and access to the WROCC online forum.
