A new version of TrainTimes has been released by Kevin Wells. The program helps you plan your trips around the country on public transport by providing a way to look up railway timetables and destinations from within RISC OS.

Kevin Wells has released another update to KevNav, his application for planning how to get from A to B. It works by using Wget to relay a start point and destination to the Transport API website, retrieve the results, and display it in a window in the RISC OS desktop.

If you come to RISC OS from another platform, or use any alongside it, you will know there are many features on those other platforms that are lacking on RISC OS. Some of those features can actually be quite useful, and would be beneficial to have, not least for the benefit of people trying RISC for the first time, so that they are more comfortable using it.
