Finding its way to the RISCOSitory bunker at all but the last minute1, the Wakefield RISC OS Computer Club have announced the topic for their next meeting, which takes place on 1st June – tomorrow (Wednesday) evening. The speaker for the meeting will be Malcolm Hussain-Gambles, developer of software such as NewsUK and WeatherUK, and he will be talking about ‘The Interweb’ and some of the latest goodies for RISC OS that can be found online.

The next meeting of the RISC OS User Group of London (ROUGOL) is one that will be worth a visit from anyone interested in the recovery and restoration of old Acorn kit and material found on disc media, and archiving that material for posterity – in particular, equipment and media that was used by the BBC in their ‘Special Projects’ unit.
