The meeting’s tonight – so this is a last minute, RapidO post!
The next meeting of SASAUG, the Surrey and Sussex Acorn User Group, takes place on Monday, 9th May, and according to an announcement only just received here at the RISCOSitory bunker, the meeting will have Chris Evans of CJE Micro’s along as a guest speaker, with the subject being the Eastwood RapidO Ig and RapidO Ti computers.
The meeting takes place at:
London Road,
Horsham,
West Sussex,
RH12 1AN.
The hall is a ten minute walk from Horsham Station, and for those arriving by car there’s a public pay and display car park about a hundred yards down the road from the hall, which according to the group’s website is free in the evenings – handy, because the evening is when the meeting takes place: Kick off is at around 8:00pm, with the doors open from around 7:30pm.
There’s no mention of an entry fee either in the announcement or on the website, but the group’s website does have a private members area, and the home page features a ‘Membership’ link that doesn’t seem to work, hinting that perhaps there may be an annual group membership fee, which would help cover the cost of the hall – so it’s possible that there may be a fee for non-members attending the meeting.
Although it’s too late for this announcement, I’ve sent the group an email to find out for future reference.
