Midlands show returns as a virtual event

In recent months, particularly in announcements for their user group meetings, you may have seen references to a show to be organised in 2022 by the Midlands User Group – a resurrection of their old Midsummer MUG Show. And if you happened to look on RISCOSitory at any point over the last few days, you may well have noticed that a banner has appeared in the sidebar for just such a show. Midlands User Group discussing Pi cameras – 4th December

Pi… Camera… Action! (And erm… RISC OS?) Although most laptops these days include webcams, as do some normal monitors even, the Raspberry Pi has its own camera module and a number of third parties also supply cameras for the device. At the next Midlands User Group (MUG) meeting, John Rickman will be talking about cameras for the Pi, and exploring what you need to use one.

RISC OS users with an interest in designing printed circuit boards (PCBs) may wish to attend the next Midlands User Group (MUG) meeting, when Terry Swanborough will be the guest speaker, talking about his freeware PCB designer application, RiscPCB. Terry will also explain how and why he began using RISC OS, and about a current project for which he uses the operating system.
