One week to go until the MUG Virtual Midsummer Show

Join in from your own home for free – sign in, sit back, enjoy… It is now just one week to the day until the Midlands User Group (MUG) holds their inaugural virtual show – a resurrection of sorts of their old physical shows, but held online. This means that the most obvious barrier to getting there – transportation – is eliminated, and you can enjoy the company of RISC OS developers and enthusiasts from wherever it is convenient for you to do so.

A week later than ordinarily scheduled to avoid a clash with the Jubilee weekend and other plans people may have had, the next meeting of the Midlands User Group (MUG) will take place on Saturday, 11th June, starting at the usual time of 2:00pm.

In recent months, particularly in announcements for their user group meetings, you may have seen references to a show to be organised in 2022 by the Midlands User Group – a resurrection of their old Midsummer MUG Show. And if you happened to look on RISCOSitory at any point over the last few days, you may well have noticed that a banner has appeared in the sidebar for just such a show. MUGs meet to moot midsummer show – 2nd October

Apparently addressing someone at RISCOSitory called ‘Rick’, Darnell from the Midlands User Group (MUG) has been in touch about the group’s forthcoming meeting, which will take place via the Zoom video conferencing service.
