Midlands User Group discussing Pi cameras – 4th December

Pi… Camera… Action! (And erm… RISC OS?)

Although most laptops these days include webcams, as do some normal monitors even, the Raspberry Pi has its own camera module and a number of third parties also supply cameras for the device. At the next Midlands User Group (MUG) meeting, John Rickman will be talking about cameras for the Pi, and exploring what you need to use one.

The group has also said that it is going to resurrect the Midlands Midsummer MUG Show as an online one on 2nd July, 2022, and they will be discussing the formal launch of the event.

The meeting will take place at 2:00pm on Saturday, 4th December, and will be held online using the Zoom video conferencing system. It is open to anyone with an interest in RISC OS, so all you need to join in are the access details (along with a suitable device to run the software, etc.) – if you’ve joined other recent MUG meetings, those details are unchanged, otherwise you can get them by request.
