RISC OS Open Ltd have announced a new edition of Nut Pi – a collection of commercial software, all provided on an SD-card for the Raspberry Pi. The latest version, which will be available at the London Show on Saturday brings ARMv8 compatibility to the software, which means it is now compatible with the Raspberry Pi 3 – and some of the titles included in the collection have been updated to the latest versions. GPS application released for RISC OS

Just the thing for the morning after the night before, and you’ve woken up wondering where on Earth you are!1 Chris Hall has released a new application, provisionally called ‘SatNav’, that can read the signal from a GPS receiver and feed it to other applications capable of understanding and acting on that data.
