Bounty boosting at ROOL

Show ’em the money! RISC OS Open Ltd, responsible for managing the RISC OS 5 source code, have announced another run of bounty matching for this month. The bounty scheme was launched in 2011 as a way to allow members of the RISC OS community to contribute funds towards the development of certain aspects of RISC OS. A number of different bounties are listed on the RISC OS Open website, and people can send money to go towards whichever one(s) they see fit.

Don’t forget to cast your vote in the 2014 RISC OS Awards

Of course, announcing the ability to vote in the first place would help! As noted in the 31st December Snippets post, things became a little hectic around these parts over the last couple of months, which meant very little time could be devoted to keeping RISCOSitory up to date. Important patch release for OpenVector suite

Yes, another! Christopher Martin, who recently released an “important patch release for [the] OpenVector Suite” has since released an “important patch release for [the] OpenVector Suite.” The wording of Christopher’s announcement of the release, like the title, appears to be more or less the same as the previous announcement, with the only difference being its date, and the version number of the affected component of the suite: the VectorUtil/VectUtil module, which now stands at version 3.31

Piccolo systems removes customer downloads
