ROUGOL meeting Monday; London Show five days later!

The topic for the meeting? The London Show – and how to squeeze everyone in! The RISC OS User Group of London – ROUGOL – have their next scheduled meeting on Monday, 19th October – tomorrow evening. The group usually has a guest speaker, but for this meeting there isn’t to be one. London show set to be the biggest yet

Breathe in – likely to be standing room only! This year’s London Show – which takes place in five weeks time, on 24th October, 2015 – is shaping up to be the biggest yet, with an impressive 27 exhibitors currently listed on the show website. Those exhibitors include plenty of familiar faces at RISC OS shows, and quite a number who are new – be that to shows in general, or just this one. No, that’s Leila, not Leela – it’s the one from Hack Circus, not the one from Doctor Who! The March meeting of the RISC OS User Group of London – ROUGOL – should be something quite special for those able to attend: The guest speaker for the meeting is a comedy writer, a technologist, a maker, and a broadcaster, all rolled into one in the form of Leila Johnston of Hack Circus, a quarterly live show and magazine exploring areas such as speculative science, subversive technology, and so on.
