Bristol RISC OS Users meeting – 13th January
A chance to see the @Raspberry_Pi Zero running RISC OS! The next meeting of Bristol RISC OS Users is due to take place next Wednesday – the 13th – and attendees will have the chance to see a Raspberry Pi in action, thanks to regular Chris Hall, who plans to bring his along.

Dinner jackets and ties not required. The RISC OS User Group of London usually meets on the third Monday of each month and, for December, that means the meeting date is 21st December – tomorrow. With a meeting date so close to Christmas, seasonal demand means the usual meeting place may be unavailable – so the group doesn’t arrange a formal meeting in December, and instead plans a more informal gathering.

Look no further… RISC OS users living in an around Southampton get to meet up on the second Tuesday of each month in the Sports Centre of Itchen College – and this month is no different: Dave Higton, who usually organises the meetings, has announced that the next meeting will be at on 8th December at the usual time of 7:00pm, running on until around 9:00pm.

For the last few months, Steve Potts has been announcing the RISC OS North West User Group’s meetings with a warning that, due to ongoing building refurbishment work, it’s possible that the group might not be able to meet in the usual place. To that end, he has provided a ‘Plan B’ that would see the group relocate to an alternative venue if necessary.
