ROUGOL goes informal for Christmas

Dinner jackets and ties not required. The RISC OS User Group of London usually meets on the third Monday of each month and, for December, that means the meeting date is 21st December – tomorrow. With a meeting date so close to Christmas, seasonal demand means the usual meeting place may be unavailable – so the group doesn’t arrange a formal meeting in December, and instead plans a more informal gathering.

Southampton RISC OS User Group meeting – December

In Southampton? Itchen for a meeting? Look no further… RISC OS users living in an around Southampton get to meet up on the second Tuesday of each month in the Sports Centre of Itchen College – and this month is no different: Dave Higton, who usually organises the meetings, has announced that the next meeting will be at on 8th December at the usual time of 7:00pm, running on until around 9:00pm.

RONWUG meeting, 18th November – and hopefully no ‘Plan B’

But if there is, it might be a sort of ‘Plan B.1’ (if that makes sense!) For the last few months, Steve Potts has been announcing the RISC OS North West User Group’s meetings with a warning that, due to ongoing building refurbishment work, it’s possible that the group might not be able to meet in the usual place. To that end, he has provided a ‘Plan B’ that would see the group relocate to an alternative venue if necessary.

For a few month’s now, each announcement of a RISC OS North West User Group’s meeting has included a warning that the group may have to meet in an alternative location – and this month is no different. The meeting takes place tomorrow evening, 21st October, and once again there is a possibility that ongoing refurbishment work may prevent access to the usual room.
