Bristol Users meeting, 12th July

RISC OS Users in and around Bristol will have their next opportunity to meet up for a drink and a chat on Wednesday, 12th July, when the user group for the area has their regular get together, at:

The Hope and Anchor Pub,
38 Jacobs Wells Road,
Bristol,
BS8 1DR.

Kicking off at around 7:00-7:30pm (though there’s usually someone there from around 6:15pm) and running on until closing time, meetings are informal in nature, so there is never a set topic. However, recent news and developments often come up for discussion, and some members bring along their latest projects if possible or practical – so there is usually something of relevance to RISC OS, even if the evening’s chat does veer off into wildly different areas.

For drivers, there is on-road parking locally – metered until 6:00pm/7:00pm, depending where, and free for the rest of the evening. For those travelling by public transport, look for buses heading towards Queens Road/The Triangle/Park Street, all of which are only a short walk from the pub.

Anyone with an interest in RISC OS, Acorn, and anything related is welcome to pop in and join the meeting, and enjoy an evening with like-minded folk having a natter over a pint and, perhaps, a meal – the Hope and Anchor serves a range of real ales, soft drinks for those who drive, and a selection of food.

The group also has a mailing list that any RISC OS user is welcome to join, regardless of whether or not they can make it to meetings.
