Hexen 1.07 released

If you attended the Southwest Show back in February, you’ll know that there was a new release of Hexen from R-Comp, which saw some significant updates over the older version – amongst other things meaning it can now be run on more modern RISC OS computer systems. It seems that the programmer responsible for the updated port of the game, Gerph, has been continuing to improve it, because there is now a new version available – 1.07 – which R-Comp’s Andrew Rawnsley says is a major update.

Attendees of the recent Southwest Show in Bristol who sat in on one or two of the theatre presentations – or anyone who has subsequently watched the videos of those talks will be aware that Wi-Fi is now a thing for RISC OS – and not only that, but like buses two different versions have arrived; one from RISC OS Developments Ltd (ROD) and one from RISC OS Open Ltd (ROOL).

Streetfix heads to Norway and Sweden

StreetFix, the application from Kevin Wells for keeping track of and reporting local problems, such as damaged street furniture, potholes, and so on, has been updated to work with a couple of additional remote API (application programmer interface) providers that use the FixMyStreet platform.

StrongED 4.69f14 available

If you use version 4.69 of StrongED and pop to the StrongED website you’ll be able to download version 4.69f14 of the software. That is to say the fourteenth ‘full release’ of version 4.69. The download file contains all ‘modes’ installed to ensure they are compatible with this release.

R-Comp releases an updated Hexen

Pluto 3.20 now available
