Bristol RISC OS Users meeting – 11th July

The next meeting of Bristol RISC OS Users (BRU) will take place on Thursday, 11th September.

The group meets on an informal basis for a chat over a meal, a drink and bite to eat, so there is usually no set topic or formal speaker; it’s usually a case of discussing the latest RISC OS news and developments, and often beyond into the wider world. However, sometimes members might bring along their own latest projects – or problems – for the group to look at.

If you live in or around Bristol, or anticipate being in the area around the time of the meeting, you are welcome to join the group from around 7:30pm on Wednesday at:

The Open Arms,
St Michael’s Hill,
BS2 8DX.

The pub serves a range of alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks, and a small range of food. There is a small amount of free evening parking on the road just outside, with metered on street parking if that’s unavailable. For users of public transport, it’s about a quarter of an hour’s walk from places like Stokes Croft and the Bearpit roundabout, where a number of bus services stop.

The group itself is open to anyone – whether you can get to the meetings or otherwise – and is supported by a very low-traffic mailing list, details of which can be found on the Bristol RISC OS Users website.
