The next Wakefield RISC OS Computer Club (WROCC) meeting will take place on Wednesday, 4th June, and the guest speaker will be Steve Revill from RISC OS Open Ltd (ROOL).

Steve will be taking the group through the company’s ‘Project Moonshot’, the project through which they hope to eventually move RISC OS out of the 32-bit world and into the 64-bit one – a challenging task that has been looming for a while, and becoming more and more important as time progresses.

The start time for the meeting is 7:45pm, and it be held online using the Zoom video conferencing software. The only things you’ll need to join are a system on which Zoom can be run, and the meeting credentials. These remain the same as previous meetings, so if you’ve attended any monthly WROCC meetings you should have them, but if not they can be obtained by contacting the group.

Although the meeting is open to any RISC OS user, regardless of WROCC membership status, it’s well worth supporting the group by joining; the cost is just £10 each year, and you get the group’s self-titled monthly newsletter sent to your inbox as a PDF file, along with access to their online discussion forum.
