Wakefield show and tell with Ian Stanley and Peter Richmond – 1st December

The Wakefield RISC OS Computer Club (WROCC) will be holding their next meeting as an in-person event on Wednesday, 1st December, and there will be two people presenting to the group – Ian Stanley and Peter Richmond.

Ian Stanley will be bringing along a selection of hardware, firmware, and software projects – one of which has a Doctor Who theme – to talk about on a show and tell basis, rather than as a formal talk. Peter Richmond will then offer demonstrations of emulators, some odd bits of software, and video converters.

As it’s a physical meeting, rather than an online one, it will take place from 7:45pm at:

The West Yorkshire Sports and Social Club,
Sandal Hall Close,
Off Walton Lane,
Wakefield,
WF2 6ER.

There is easy access to the venue for drivers, with a healthy selection of directions on the Club’s website, along with details of how to get there by public transport.

The meeting is open to anyone interested, but if you aren’t a WROCC member there will be an admission fee of £3.00. To avoid that fee simply become a member. For an annual fee of £15.00 – reduced to £7.50 for your first year – as well as free admission to meetings, you’ll receive by email a monthly newsletter called The WROCC as a PDF, and access to a members-only mailing list.
