The next meeting of the RISC OS User Group of London (ROUGOL) will take place on Monday, 20th May – tomorrow evening – and this month rather than a formal speaker, the meeting will take the form of an open discussion. Attendees will be able to hold general discussions about RISC OS and recent news, and undoubtedly those who were able to attend last month’s Wakefield Show will be able to regale those who weren’t with news of what they saw.
The meeting – which is free to attend – will be at its usual time of 7:45pm, and its usual venue:
The Blue-Eyed Maid (upstairs in the restaurant),
173 Borough High Street,
London,
SE1 1HR.
Serving both English and Indian food, and a range of alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks, the venue is easy to reach by public transport; it’s located between Borough and London Bridge stations, and is only a short walk from either. Those two stations are also easily reached from other stations – London Bridge is two stops on the Jubilee Line from Waterloo, while Borough can be reached southbound on the Bank branch of the Northern Line from Euston and Kings Cross/St Pancras.
If you need any help finding the venue, or would like any other information about the group, ROUGOL can be contacted by email, via Twitter, or by telephone on 07970 211 629.
And finally, if you haven’t done so already, don’t forget to mark 26th October, 2019 in your diaries – that’s when the next London Show will be happening. Organised by ROUGOL, it will once again be held in the St Giles Hotel, Feltham.
