RISC CE + Wispy = Wispy CE

It’s simple maths, innit? In the wake of the recent Recursion and Southwest shows, and the launch of the CE range, Ident Computer‘s Tom Williamson and RISCOSbits‘ Andy Marks have recognised a degree of overlap in some of their product range and, rather than compete, have put their heads – and their overlapping products – together.

RISC OS Southwest: One week to go!

That’s just seven days – so few you can count ’em on the fingers of, er, one and a bit hands! In a week’s time, a large contingent of the RISC OS community – hardware and software developers, businesses, hobbyist programmers and, of course, general users – will be converging on a hotel in a rather nice setting on the Mendip Hills for the first main event of the year: RISC OS Southwest, organised by R-Comp‘s Andrew Rawnsley and Orpheus Internet‘s Richard Brown. Breaking news: Shock update to Wakefield exhibitors and theatre

I hope you’re all sitting down for this one 🙁 Earlier today (well, yesterday, strictly speaking), RISCOSitory published a preview of the Wakefield Show, which takes place on 16th April – two weeks from now. In that piece, a specific point was made of MW Software being on the exhibitor list – largely because Martin Würthner wasn’t at the show last year and, indeed, his show appearances have, of late, been a little rare. New products and CJE / 4D at the London Show on Saturday

Announcement from Chris Evans, 22nd October, 2015. CJE Micro’s and 4D are expecting a bumper London RISC OS show this Saturday, 24th October. A few are highlighted below. We also hope to have a prototype with us – it’s big and it’s red!

Show report: Wakefield 2015

Aaaaaand breathe! It has been a massive seven weeks since this year’s Wakefield Show – so if you’ve turned a rather unsightly colour as a result of holding your breath waiting for the RISCOSitory show report, it’s now time to breathe normally again and let your normal colour return!

RISC OS users to get some wrist action – ‘watch’ this space!

‘RISC OS Band’ coming soon! Here’s a little experiment for you. It might not work for everyone – it depends on a number of factors, such as the size of screen you use for RISC OS and the resolution you run it at, and the type of watch you wear (if you wear one at all) will also determine the outcome – but it probably will work for most users.
