Although no formal announcement has yet been made, the London Show has found a new home, and the date is now set for the 2024 event – so open those diaries (or Organizer apps) and turn to October to set a reminder for the 26th!

Southwest 2024 date confirmed
And a round-up of other show dates, whether known or likely! The time is almost here to say goodbye to 2023 and welcome in a whole new year, which we should probably call ‘2024’ – and if we’re looking at a new year, we may as well start thinking about the RISC OS shows that we’ll be attending, the first of which is usually the Southwest Show.

No London Show again? Read about the last Wakefield one instead! Due to circumstances beyond the control of the organisers, last year’s Wakefield Show morphed into the Wradfold show – Wakefield, but in Bradford – and this year, the show carried on in the same location, for much the same reason. 25th February 2023 saw the RISC OS Southwest Show return to the Arnos Manor Hotel in Bristol. This was the first time the event has taken place since just before the Covid pandemic hit the UK, with the last one pretty much on the eve of the plague landing on our shores in early 2020.

In the UK, the last of the physical RISC OS shows1 before the Long Gaptm until the next is Wakefield, which took place last month, but if you are able to get to The Netherlands, there’s one still to go – the annual RISC OS eXperience, hosted by the Big Ben Club in Koog aan de Zaan, and which takes place tomorrow.
