That’ll be in Wychbold, then!1
The Midlands User Group (MUG) will be meeting up in person this Saturday (4th March) for the first time since before the pandemic – meetings in the interim have all been held online – and the ‘main event’ of the meeting will be a demonstration of the Desktop Dock, for use with laptops such as the Pinebook Pro.
The dock is a RISCOSbits’ product, designed to make it easier to connect the laptop to an external screen, along with a keyboard and mouse, and thus use it as you would a desktop computer.
Last year, the group resurrected its annual show as an online event, and this year they are planning another – to be called the MUG Mega Meet, which will take place on July 1st using Zoom – and at the meeting on Saturday they will also discuss their initial plans for that.
Starting at 2:00pm, the meeting will take place at:
Wychbold Village Hall,
School Rd,
Wychbold,
WR9 7PU.
There is no entry fee for this meeting.
