Southampton and Bristol May meetings

Southampton, 10. Bristol, 11. Wait, sorry, no – those are dates, not scores.

Tuesday, 10th May is the date of this month’s Southampton RISC OS User Group meeting. Organised as usual by Dave Higton, the meeting will run from around 7:00pm until around 9:00pm, and everyone is welcome to attend. So, with free admittance, if you’re in or around Southampton the place you’ll want to head for is:

Itchen College Sports Centre,
Deacon Road,
Southampton.

The group meets in the College Centre, an open area with tables and chairs that’s next to the Sports Centre reception desk. The car park can be accessed from Deacon Road, opposite Whites Road. There will be at least one small network of RISC OS machines running, and Dave says to bring along any software and/or hardware that you want to show off to the other attendees.

The Bristol RISC OS Users meeting takes place the following evening, on Wednesday, 11th May. Also free to attend, the meeting begins at around 7:30pm – although some members may arrive earlier – and generally continues on until closing time, at:

The Hope and Anchor,
Jacobs Wells Road,
Bristol,
BS8 1DR.

Being an informal get together in a pub, there’s no set topic and discussions can cover just about anything. Attendees are welcome to bring along anything that may be of interest to the rest of the group.
