How much cake does it take to make a RiscPC

As we hope you all know, the RiscPC is 20 years old this month… and there’s a RISC OS show in Wakefield!

So, how do you celebrate a birthday like that? Why, CAKE, of course!

Orpheus Internet and R-Comp are pleased to announce a birthday celebration 20 years in the making1 (give or take)… The RiscPC birthday cake extravaganza.

As a special event at the show, we’ll have a fabulous RiscPC cake for visitors to enjoy, and will have a special “cutting the cake” ceremony early in the day.

Sadly you won’t be able to buy upgrades for this RiscPC from your favourite RISC OS dealer, but rumour has it the old AKF18 monitors may do a fair impersonation of candles.

The cake features a classic two-slice RiscPC design (slices of RiscPC cake… there must be a joke there), and a delicious “madeira” flavour3.

Come and join the fun at the Wakefield Show this weekend, and visit  the R-Comp and Orpheus stands for slice of history 🙂
