PhotoDesk is a comprehensive photo editing package dating back to the 1990s, when it was first released by Spacetech. These days, the software is in the hands of Netherlands-based X-Ample Technology (XAT) with R-Comp handling sales and updates.
The latest version of the software is 3.23b, and R-Comp has now made a new version of the manual available to download – if you visit the PhotoDesk page on the R-Comp website, you’l find it along with a few other useful resources for the software.
The new edition of the manual – which stands at 202 pages (and is a whopping – for RISC OS – 24MB in size) covers new image formats supported by the latest version of the software (QOI and WebP), adds a new worked example called Pi Day, and has updated keyboard shortcuts listed.
The software itself can be purchased from !Store for £42.00 (with a discount available for users of older versions).
