Kevin Wells has updated StreetFix, his software that allows RISC OS users to report problems to local authorities, such as potholes, broken street lights, etc. Using Wget, the software interfaces with the FixMyStreet website to do this. It can also be used to look at existing reports, and version 1.02 of the software allows those reports to a GPX file – which can then be loaded into suitable mapping software to see where those reports are about.

BusTimes can now launch GPX files
BusTimes, Kevin Wells’ application for finding out bus and bus stop timetables has been brought up to version 1.11, and along with some bug fixes, it now allows GPX files of the bus route to be launched, if an application that can handle them has been seen by the filer.
