Martin Avison has been in touch to relay details of Steve Drain‘s funeral and memorial gathering. The service will take place on the afternoon of Monday, 30th January, at a venue near Exeter. Anybody in the RISC OS community who knew Steve is welcome to attend. Those who wish to do so should contact Martin for details, and so that he is able to provide numbers to Sue (Steve’s wife). Bristol RISC OS Users meeting – 18th January
A week later than it would normally take place, the next meeting of Bristol RISC OS Users (BRU) is set for Wednesday, 18th January. The group normally meets on the second Wednesday of odd months, but was put back by seven days to avoid a clash with the recent Wakefield meeting.

The next RISC OS User Group of London (ROUGOL) meeting will be another hybrid meeting, with both a physical presence at the group’s regular venue, and an online one – but with an added twist: There will be two guest speakers for the evening, and one will be appearing in person, while the other will be at the other end of an internet connection.
