Bristol meeting – 11th March

Bristol RISC OS users can next get together for an informal drink and/or meal on Wednesday, 11th March. Starting from around 7:30pm, the place to head for is:

The Eldon House,
6 Lower Clifton Hill,
Bristol,
BS8 1BT.

Since the meetings are informal there is never a set topic or guest speaker, but those in attendance sometimes bring along their current pet projects, or something they need help or advice with – anything is on topic. Recent and/or upcoming events often come up in discussion as well, so the recent Southwest Show is likely to be discussed, as is the upcoming Wakefield Show, scheduled for 18th April.

Parking in the area is on-road but metered, so anyone coming by car should be sure to have change. For anyone coming by bus, a number of routes head through Queens Road, The Triangle, and Park Street, all of which are just a short walk from the pub.

The Eldon House serves a selection of real ales, as well as soft drinks for those who drive, and there is usually food available for those who wish to eat.

Meetings are open to one and all, and are simply a group of people with an interest in RISC OS, Acorn, and anything related, getting together for a drink and a natter – and whether you live in or around Bristol, or just happen to be in the area at the time, you’re welcome to join us.

Bristol RISC OS Users also has a mailing list that any RISC OS user is welcome to join, local or otherwise.
