Kevin Wells has released a new version of MPData+, his application for keeping tabs on UK local MPs.
The software is designed to retrieve a variety of information about local MPs from the TheyWorkForYou website, displaying some of it – such as their name, constituency, party, the date they entered the House of Commons, and more – in a window on the desktop. A button marked “Debates” then opens a further window, which shows the last four debates for the MP. Additional buttons will launch a web browser to access pages that provide more information, allow constituents to write to the MP, and so on.
Version 1.11 of MPData+ brings with it the ability to fetch and display a photograph of the MP.
