The recordings of the four talks given at the 2019 RISC OS Southwest Show are now available to view on YouTube.
I planned to spend a little time looking at and editing these videos, but in the end – other than trimming the start and finish, and joining sections together – decided not to because of the time I had available (which means, yes, I could have made them available in this form months ago).
These, then, are more or less the raw recordings as made on the day:
- Andrew Rawnsley, talking on behalf of R-Comp and RISC OS Developments,
- Matthew Phillips, talking on behalf of Sine Nomine,
- Steve Fryatt, talking on behalf of, well, Steve Fryatt,
- Steve Revill, talking on behalf of RISC OS Open Ltd.
I should note that the way I record the talks is to set my camera running, then leave it unattended because I need to man my own stand at the show. As a result, I have no control over people’s failure to notice the camera, and to either obscure its view or knock it out of alignment. This is apparent in these talks, particularly in the fourth.
