The next meeting for RISC OS users in the Midlands area will take place on Saturday, 20th July at 2pm, and the main topic of the afternoon will be a discussion of using ADFFS to run old, legacy software on modern systems.
In addition, there will be a modern system available for attendees to look at – an ARMBook, running the latest development build of RISC OS for the ARM-based laptop from R-Comp.
The meeting will take place in the Midlands User Group‘s new venue:
Wychbold Village Hall,
School Road,
Wychbold,
WR9 7PU.
The group welcomes anyone to the meetings, though there will be a small fee payable by non-members.
The new location is just a short hop from Junction 5 of the M5, as shown on this Streetmap link. Wychbold is well served by public transport links, with Bromsgrove and Droitwich Spa railway stations only a bus trip away, and the 144 and 145 buses running through the village.
