RISC OS users in and around Bristol have the next opportunity to get together for a pie and a pint on Wednesday, 8th May – when the local user group holds its next meeting, at:
The Eldon House pub,
6 Lower Clifton Hill,
Bristol,
BS8 1BT.
The group aims for a start time of 7:00-7:30pm, though some members do arrive earlier, and the meeting tends to run on until closing time.
Meetings are informal in nature, and open to one and all – you just need to have an interest in RISC OS, Acorn, or anything remotely related. There is never a set topic, but recent or upcoming news and developments usually get a look in, and some members may bring along their own personal pet projects to show off and discuss.
For those coming by car, parking is on-road and metered, so make sure you have some change with you. For anyone coming by bus, look for any heading towards Queens Road/The Triangle/Park Street – all a short walk from the pub.
The Eldon House has a selection of real ales, as well as soft drinks for those who drive, and there is food available for those feeling peckish.
The group also has a mailing list that any RISC OS user is welcome to join, local or otherwise.
