Wakefield, Bristol user group meetings in March

It’s like social networking but, like, actually being there. With other people.

The Wakefield and Bristol user groups have both announced their next meetings, with the Wakefield group having a guest speaker, and the Bristol group being an informal drink and chat as usual.

The Wakefield RISC OS Computer Club meeting takes place on 4th March, 2015, starting at around 7:45pm, and this month features Dave Buck giving a talk on the subject of RiscCAD.

WROCC’s meetings are held at:

West Yorkshire Sports and Social Club
Sandal Hall Close, off Walton Lane
(A61) Barnsley Road
Sandal
Wakefield
WF2 6ER

Entry to the meeting costs £3.00, and includes a printed copy of the club newsletter. Alternatively, an annual membership costs £15, which includes free entry to the meetings, a subscription to a PDF version of the newsletter (add £7 for printed copies), a discussion forum, and more.

The Bristol RISC OS Users meeting takes place one week later, on 11th March, 2015, starting at around 7:30pm, in its usual location:

The Hope and Anchor
38 Jacob’s Wells Road
Bristol
BS8 1DR

Meetings are open to anyone – if you are in or around Bristol at the time of the meeting and have an interest in RISC OS, just turn up at the pub and join in. There is no set topic, but with the Southwest Show still being a very recent memory, the ARMX6 computer having just been launched at that show, and the Wakefield Show fast approaching, these are all likely to be subjects that will feature in the evening’s discussion.
