Wakefield club meeting – 8th January

Announcement from Chris Hughes, 3rd January 2014

MEETING on Wednesday 8th January 2014

This will be the Annual General Meeting, and as it is the one meeting a year that is restricted to members only, we regret that we cannot admit visitors on this occasion.

The formal business will be followed by Steve Fryatt taking a look at using Thomas Milius’s MapView and We-Know-Where-You-Live applications for accessing the Open Street Map and Google’s geographical search tools, from the RISC OS desktop.

That date again is Wednesday 8th January starting at 7:45pm.

Our meetings are held at:

West Yorkshire Sports and Social Club
Sandal Hall Close, off Walton Lane
(A61) Barnsley Road

For a map and directions look at the Club website.

There is ample FREE car parking at the venue, and a bar for refreshments. Visitors are charged an entrance fee of 3 ukp. Annual membership is also available for those living near and far at 15 ukp, but new members receive a 50% discount in their first year of membership, i.e. 7.50 ukp.
