The RISC OS eXperience 2014 – just a few days time

Five times as much notice this year than last!

Those sneaky Dutch almost managed to slip in their annual show without RISCOSitory noticing, and not for the first time, but thanks to an announcement from Chris Evans a few days ago, the event has been added to the RISC OS Calendar for 2014 just in the nick of time!

Organised by the Big Ben Club, the ‘2014 edition‘ [English version] takes place on Saturday, 17th May, 2014, running from 10:00am until 4:00pm, in the same venue as previous years:

Wijkgebouw de Vuister
Molenwerf 44
1541 WR Koog aan de Zaan
The Netherlands

Directions and a map can be found on the show website, including a floorplan of the building. Admission will be free, and refreshments available at a reasonable price. There is free parking and a train station nearby, with a bus stop at the entrance.

Last year, the club was celebrating its 30th birthday (there’s a lot of that going on at the moment!) and did so by giving Raspberry Pis to almost 150 longstanding club members. This year’s show will focus on supporting the tiny board and our favourite operating system, RISC OS, for Dutch users.
