Change of venue for Bristol meeting, 8th November

The next meeting of the Bristol RISC OS Users group will take place on Wednesday, 8th November – but not at the usual venue. This month, the group can be found in a pub a short walk away from their normal meeting place. The meeting will be held at The Eldon House pub, which can be found at:

6 Lower Clifton Hill,
Bristol,
BS8 1BT.

Lower Clifton Hill is just off Jacobs Wells Road, a couple of hundred yards further up the hill than the Hope and Anchor pub – and for those coming by bus, a slightly shorter walk from the stops on Queens Road and The Triangle. For drivers, parking is on-road, with local roads metered until 6:00pm in some cases, 7:00pm in others.

The Eldon House serves a selection of real ales, and there is usually hot food available for those feeling peckish.

The meeting is informal in nature, and is simply a way for anyone in the area to meet up and discuss RISC OS matters, as well as anything else that takes their fancy, over a drink and/or a meal. As such there is no set topic, but recent and upcoming events or news often work their way into the conversation.

There is no admission fee, and anyone is welcome to either come along to the meeting or join the mailing list – or indeed both!
