R-Comp‘s support packages for the 4té and Raspberry Pi 4 (on which it is based) have both been updated, with the latest versions – 1.21 – both available to download. In the case of PiTools, that’ll be via !Store, and in the case of 4téTools, from the users’ download site, detailed in the machine’s support documentation. The reason for the update is that an issue cropped up with some of the LockScreen options, which have now been resolved.

4téTools gains new features in version 1.19
So is it now 4té-something-Tools? Were there 4té of them before? With a trip to Amsterdam1 coming up, to attend the Big Ben Club RISC OS eXperience, at which R-Comp‘s Andrew Rawnsley is planning to show off 4téTools as part of his talk, the company has announced a new version of the software. Sporting a range of new features for both 4té and Sixteen Hundred 4té2 users, the software is now at version 1.19.
