A fairly new release from Kevin Wells, PhoneVal has now been updated to version 1.01
The application uses Wget to communicate with the Number Verification API (application programmer interface) provided by API Layer (with whom you’ll need to register to receive an API key) – through which it looks up information about any phone numbers fed into it.
Kevin’s update gives F3 support to the software – if there is something to save, pressing the function key will pop up a save dialogue. In addition, it now allows you to obtain information about any given number with just its international country phone code, as well as by specifying the country name.
