VATGST pops up to version 1.03

If you use VATGST from Kevin Wells, there is a new version for you to download.

Version 1.03 of the software is only a small update, adding recognition of and response to the F3 key to pop up a Save dialogue box if there is anything to be saved.

The application offers a handy way to check if an entity that is charging either Value Added Tax (VAT) or Goods and Services Tax (GST) in those countries is legitimately registered. If they are, they should provide a registration number, and VATGST can look that number up – using Curl – via the VAT Sense web service.

Please note that to use VAT Sense, you will need to be registered, to receive an Application Programmer Interface (API) key. This is free if you’re carrying out fewer than 100 look-ups per month.

If you find any of Kevin’s software, why not consider rewarding him for it by buying some merchandise or with a small contribution.
