Currency updated to version 1.11

Kevin Wells’ has released a new version of his Currency application, which uses Wget to pass currency conversion requests to the Free Currency Converter API and display the results on the RISC OS desktop.

One of the smaller changes in version 1.11 is a simple spelling mistake in the program’s HTML output, and another is an increase in the size of the exchange rate icon – this being to accommodate the rate for the Venezuelan Bolivar, which is apparently rather high!

A bigger change to the application is a new feature – the ability to pull the last ten years of Gross Domestic Product (GDP) and population data for a country, which comes from The World Bank, again thanks to Wget.
