Announcement from Andrew Rawnsley, 25th February, 2015.
We are pleased to announce that version 4.10 of NetFetch will be released at the Southwest Show. This is a free upgrade for existing customers, but that won’t go live until after the show, just in case of tech support issues – better to launch when we’re around to provide assistance.
The new version contains the promised big Hermes mail fetcher update. Hermes 4.10 provides smoother, multitasking spooling, and has a much faster feel in use. When viewing mail on server, it can decode UTF-8 encoded subject lines etc. It also aims to resolve Zero Page Protection issues that could affect owners of non-RCI computers and a couple of issues reported with the previous v4 release.
NetFetch 4 is available on CD when ordered from R-Comp or via digital download on !Store (look in your Apps folder, or download it). CD customers also receive a code for digital download (e.g. for updates) via !Store, so the CD edition is considered the “deluxe” purchase.
