Bristol RISC OS Users meeting – 13th May, 2015

Announcement from Vince M Hudd, 8th May, 2015.

The next meeting of Bristol RISC OS Users (BRU) is Wednesday 13th May, 2015, starting at around 7:00-7:30pm (though some of us may arrive earlier) and continuing until closing time.

The meeting will take place at the usual venue:

The Hope and Anchor pub,

38 Jacobs Wells Road,

Bristol,

BS8 1DR.

Parking is on-road – with some local roads being metered. For anyone coming by bus, look for those heading towards Queens Road/The Triangle/Park Street – all a short walk from the pub.

The Hope and Anchor has a wide selection of real ales, as well as soft drinks for those who drive, and serves a good selection of food.

Meetings are open to one and all, and are simply a group of people with an interest in RISC OS, Acorn, and anything related, getting together for a drink and a natter – and whether you live in or around Bristol, or just happen to be in the area at the time, you’re welcome to join us.

Since the meetings are informal in nature, there is never a set topic, but recent (or upcoming) events and news tend to form a part of the evening’s discussion. For this meeting, the recent Wakefield Show is likely to come up during the evening’s discussion, and member Chris Hall will be bringing along his ARMX6 computer.

Bristol RISC OS Users also has a mailing list that any RISC OS user is welcome to join, local or otherwise – to sign up, point your web browser in the direction of bristol.riscosusers.org.uk.

We look forward to seeing you there!
