TrainTimes 2.05 released

Another small update has been made to TrainTimes by its developer, Kevin Wells.

The application provides a way to look up information about trains and stations, including timetable information, and so on. It does this by using Wget to communicate user input to a couple of remote websites – Real Train Times and National Rail – and processing and displaying the data that is returned.

The main change to bring the software up to version 2.06 is the addition of a ‘Station Data’ entry in the Station Details window menu. Clicking this menu item will launch the station’s page on the Railway Data website.

Other changes include:

  • An icon has on the error window for when an error was triggered by a download problem – clicking this will allow the log file to be quickly viewed.
  • When the Edit API and Station icons are clicked the relevant windows now open with the relevant data (if known) pre-filled.

If you find any of Kevin’s software useful, why not consider rewarding him for it by buying some merchandise or with a small contribution.
